Under the Equality Act 2010, disabled people should be treated equally.  Employers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments for their staff who need support to overcome any barriers they may encounter as a result of their disability.

Workplace Training

If you are an employer looking to make changes in the workplace to enable disabled staff, we can advise you.  We are also able to provide training and workshops on disability awareness and related topics including wellbeing, communication, visual stress, and learning difficulties, all of which are designed to enable you in providing a supportive workplace environment.

If you are an employee looking to arrange your own support under Access to Work we provide the following services:

Coaching and mentoring

Our workplace coaches and mentors use a solution focused approach based on the needs of the individual and the organisation.  We work one-to-one helping employees to develop strategies in areas such as time management, organisation, communication, motivation, literacy/numeracy.

Assistive Technology

Assistive technology can be highly enabling in the workplace, assisting with tasks such as planning, reading, writing, structuring, organisation, presentations and recall.  Our assistive technology trainers are able to travel to you or provide training in our offices in South Wales.

Specialist Proofreading

Proofreading your own work can be challenging given that we tend to read what we meant to write.  We are able to provide a proofreading service which includes website content, presentations, documents, contracts, policies and reports.
